Prince Charmat is an English sparkling wine with a difference. Launched in 2021, in Majestic and Tesco stores nationwide, it is storming the market by offering a premium sparkling wine, at an affordable price.
To support the launch of the brand, Prince Charmat required a clean, one-page website to communicate key information. The website also needed to reflect the whimsical nature of the brand, and introduce the fictional Prince character, who is central to the brand.
As a brand with abundant character, Source introduced subtle animated elements to the website – a colour changing wig to reflect the two wine varieties, and cheeky, tongue in cheek messaging to help bring the Prince to life. To expand the brand, we introduced illustrations of grapes, glasses and corks, which were utilised across a suite of branded social media assets to tease the product launch across Instagram.
