The newly-formed Oswestry BID are working as a collective with the local and surrounding business community to bring fresh life, investment and development to the famous old market town.
Working with the BID board, Source have created a new brand ‘One Oswestry’ and a website, designed to provide key information to visitors, simply and effectively. From leisure facilities, to bespoke leather stores, the new site allows visitors to explore and gain a greater understanding of Oswestry and its many hidden secrets through an extensive business directory and search functionality. Latest events in the town are all promoted through the site, alongside key information including job listings and transport information.
The new brand focuses on the town’s strong sense of community and spirit, with a nod to the traditions and heritage of the border-town. Stunning imagery, a colour palette with foundations of the town’s history, and an icon representative of ‘King Oswald’s Tree’ (the very origin of the town’s name) combine to create a fresh and inspiring approach.
The new site will now become the key point of contact and a tool to promote and celebrate a number of new initiatives from the BID, from developments in the town to new events and activities.
