After two years’ organic growth, Cake Bag, offering subscription-based themed cake decorating kits, wished to proactively increase business through rebranding and redeveloping their website and streamlining processes.
Source created a fun, colourful, strong brand identity, adding personality and styling across photography, graphics, website and social platforms. A sub brand for Cake Bag ‘Kids’ – a new growth area of the business – was also developed to further grow the market to the existing customer base. Strict brand guidelines were developed to maintain in-house continuity and maximise both the digital exposure of the brand, and offer a greater visual experience to online visitors.
A large part of the project was developing a sophisticated and robust subscription model to provide customers flexibility in their choice of plan. This was created using WordPress and WooCommerce with bespoke programming and customisation where required.
