Wok or not! Distinctive styling for a new product

Source are delighted to announce that they have played a vital role in the launch a unique food product.

Wok or Not is a new concept in retailing. It offers a fresh and nutritious selection of leaves which have the option of being eaten hot or cold – as a salad, or a stirfry.

Senior Source designer Nick Watts explained: “We were approached by food specialists PDM to develop a brand. This is a very competitive market so we were really challenged to come up with something strong and exciting.

“We had to enable Wok or Not to be sold to supermarkets under its own name. The brief was to create distinctive, vibrant packaging for three different variations which ensured they stood out on shelves.

“As the range targets mid to high-end end users we also wanted to reassure customers that they were purchasing a healthy, honest option.”

PDM managing director Philip Maddocks said: “We were delighted with the way Source took the time to research this sector and develop something so distinctive. Their branding ticks all the boxes and has created an image that stands out from the crowd.

“Wok or Not is now on the shelves of leading supermarkets such as Asda and Co-op and has been extremely well received.”

Come rain or shine, our leaves are divine!
