Shropshire Council approached Source for a website to front their new campaign, Cycle Shrewsbury. The website offers, a great range of information, maps and activities, all created and made live within a very tight deadline.
A bright, friendly, fun website was created that utilises a strong visual and extensive animation to bring it to life. An interactive Flash cycling game was integrated to appeal to children using the site, as well as an interactive map - using Google Maps technology. The site is content managed enabling the Cycle Shrewsbury team to update the site regularly in-house, including adding cycle routes and points of interest to the interactive map by drawing the route directly on to a map with the mouse.
A blog was added to the website for the team to update, and visitors can comment on blog posts. A photo gallery was created that can be managed and visitors can also submit their own photos‚ for inclusion.
